About us

American Pride Squadron is a local unit of the U. S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, based out of Lake Nona High School in Southeast Orlando.  We are sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4287 and the Central Florida Navy League in Orlando, FL.   Our cadets come from Orange and Osceola counties and all adult Officers and Instructors are unpaid volunteers.

Drills are held twice a month on Saturdays at Lake Nona High School.  This is our primary location, but we do meet at other locations for special events.  Cadets also participate in one or two week trainings during the winter and summer break. Trainings are held at various facilities across the US.
